POLICY TEAM
The Policy Team is accountable to the Presidential Office. Their main goal is to explore one or more topics that are relevant for psychology students and to eventually deliver recommendations for local organizations/a policy paper/a campaign/a product…
In 2021, the Policy Team will be exploring the topic “the Identity of Psychology in Belgium, how to inform our students and society about our rich field of study”. More information about this topic will be communicated in January.
The BFPS Policy Team values a scientific approach. We will use different methods of research ( e.g. qualitative analysis websites, focus group study with local student organizations, survey study targeting all Belgian psychology students,...) to explore this year’s topic. We also value the opinion of all stakeholders (e.g. professional organizations, advisory boards in universities,...) so during all the steps of our exploration, we will make sure to reach out to and communicate openly with all stakeholders.

SECRETARY OFFICE
The Webmaster is part of the Secretary Office and accountable to the Secretary General. Their main responsibility is to maintain and improve BFPS’ online platforms such as the website and mail accounts. Besides that they are responsible for maintaining all BFPS’ internal and external communication platforms.

FINANCE OFFICE
The Sponsorships Responsible is part of the Finance Office and accountable to the Finance Coordinator. Their main responsibility is to create an annual and long term strategy for fundraising and writing sponsorship proposals. Besides that they are responsible for creating and maintaining a database with relevant information and documents regarding sponsorships.

The Social Media Team is part of the Marketing Office and accountable to the Marketing Coordinator. Their main responsibility is to oversee the social media presence of BFPS and to promote BFPS’ visibility. Besides that they are also responsible for engaging and interacting with the audience.

EXTERNAL RELATIONS
The Student Liaison is part of the External Relations Office and accountable to the External Relations Coordinator. Their main responsibility is to keep close contact with their student organization (such as Psychologische Kring Leuven or PPSR Gent) and BFPS. Besides that they are responsible for gaining insight in the needs, values, goals and working structure of the student organization.

EVENTS OFFICE
The Events Team Members are part of Events Office and accountable to the Events Coordinator. Their main task is to organize educational activities such as workshops, readings, webinars etc. in different cities, about a broad range of topics, to appeal to psychology students from different fields within psychology. Also, staying up to date on hot topics and experts within the field is one of their responsibilities.

MEMBER REPRESENTATIVES
The National Campaign Coordinator is part of the Member Representatives Team and accountable to the EFPSA Coordinator. Their main responsibility is to implement the initiatives of the Social Impact Initiative in Belgium. Besides that they are also responsible for connecting and collaborating with the different Mind the Mind Local Coordinators.
